Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualifications
Applicants must possess the prescribed academic qualification strictly as on the date of notification, i.e., 18 June 2026.
- General Requirement: A Post Graduate Degree with not less than 55% marks (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates) from a UGC-recognised university in the relevant subject.
- Professional Degree: An M.Ed. Degree with not less than 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/BC/PwD) from an NCTE-recognised institution is required.
- Physical Education (Post Code 19): A Post Graduate Degree in Physical Education from an institution recognised by NCTE is mandatory.
2. Age Limit (As on 01/07/2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years.
- Maximum Age: 44 years (The upper age limit was relaxed from 34 to 44 vide G.O.Ms.No.86, dt. 18/05/2026). Age relaxations will apply for eligible categories as per government norms.
Examination Centres & Selection Minimums
The examination will be conducted across multiple key locations in Telangana. The designated examination centres include: Hyderabad (incl. HMDA), Karimnagar, Khammam, Warangal, and Nizamabad.
To qualify for final selection, candidates must achieve the minimum prescribed marks as categorized below:
- OC, Sportspersons & EWS: Not less than 40%.
- BCs: Not less than 35%.
- SCs, STs & PH: Not less than 30%.
